Welcome to the Renner-Lanjus Collection
Based in Lower Austria, the Renner-Lanjus Collection brings together a diverse range of artworks spanning from Viennese Modernism of the early 1900s to contemporary international positions.

Our collection reflects a deep and ongoing engagement with the history of art — from the pioneering spirit of Vienna’s turn-of-the-century avant-garde to the dynamic expressions of today’s global art scene.

Beyond collecting, our work is dedicated to research, curation, and dialogue. Through exhibitions and collaborative projects, we seek to highlight connections across time, geography, and artistic vision — presenting works from our collection alongside other significant artistic positions.

The Renner-Lanjus Collection is pleased to present Ortswechsel, a solo exhibition by Tyrolean artist Markus Bacher.
Bacher’s painting is a celebration of the
in-between – neither fully abstract nor fully figurative, but a vibrant interplay of light, colour, and space.
